Forever Young: Symptom Sense is an AI-powered application designed to help individuals living with chronic pain better manage their conditions. Unlike traditional symptom-tracking apps that act only as digital journals, Symptom Sense analyzes lifestyle and environmental data—such as sleep, stress, diet, and weather—to detect patterns, predict flare-ups, and provide personalized management strategies. While not a replacement for medical advice, the app empowers users to make informed decisions and improve their quality of life.

Challenges & Learnings
Building Symptom Sense highlighted the complexity of balancing accurate AI insights with the variability of chronic pain experiences. Key challenges included ensuring consistent and reliable user input, protecting sensitive health data, and setting clear boundaries that the app does not replace professional medical advice. Through this project, we learned the importance of combining user feedback loops, wearable integrations, and robust privacy measures to create an effective and trustworthy health tool.
